Creation of the Constitution: A New Design Set for Constitution Day

In September 1787, delegates from twelve states gathered in Philadelphia to sign a document that would shape the future of a nation – the United States Constitution. It was the result of months of debate, compromise, and vision. And it remains, more than two centuries later, the foundation of American governance and liberty.

To honor this legacy, Long Live the Republic is proud to introduce our newest design set: “Creation of the Constitution.” This collection celebrates the moment when ideas became law, when ideals became structure, and when the Republic found its voice.

Designs Rooted in History, Made for Today
The Creation of the Constitution set features minimalist, typographic, and emblematic designs inspired by the conventions, debates, and innovations that led to the Republic’s founding document.  Each piece is crafted in line with our clean, minimalist style, designed to evoke the dignity and importance of the founding era.

Featured Products
Just in time for Septepmber, Creation of the Constitution includes a new tee, coffee mug, and poster, all featuring the timeline of the Constitution.  You can explore the full collection here.

We recommend featuring these two standout pieces:

·        Creation of the Constitution T-Shirt
This minimalist timeline tee traces the journey from the failed Articles of Confederation to the ratification of the U.S. Constitution. A clean, wearable tribute to the founding process, perfect for Constitution Day.

“Annapolis to Philadelphia” Timeline Poster
A visual companion to the tee, this poster lays out the key milestones Annapolis Convention to the signing of the Constitution. Ideal for classrooms, offices, or anyone who wants to reflect on the Republic’s foundations.

Why It Matters
The Constitution isn’t just a historical artifact; it’s a living document. It shapes our debates about power, liberty, and justice. It reminds us that governance is a choice, and that democracy is a responsibility.

This Constitution Day, wear your values. Celebrate the legacy. And help carry the story forward.

Long Live the Republic.
