Honoring Great American Leadership

Honoring Great American Leadership

February brings us Presidents’ Day, which - as boring as it may have been for us as kids – is in fact a chance to reflect on and to carry forward some of the wisdom demonstrated by great American leaders.  That’s why this month’s theme is American Leadership.

This month we’re featuring two designs, each inspired by great American presidents with some of the hopeful sentiments they expressed following critical, and challenging, periods in our history.

Our first design is “In Common Cause,” inspired by George Washington and his call for Americans to remember that the liberty they (and we) enjoyed were the result of great efforts made together.

Our second design is “Malice Toward None,” inspired by Abraham Lincoln and drawn from his words following the end of the Civil War, a time when the country needed to heal and to look forward to the future together.

As they have in past times, these sentiments, set forth by leaders who led our nation through some of its most challenging and most terrible moments, once again offer guidance that can steer America through its current challenges.

Long Live the Republic.
